History/ Accomplishments
Founded in 2003, The Haitian League is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, and inclusive grassroots movement that calls on all persons of Haitian descent living in the Diaspora to ensure full and active integration. The Haitian League seeks to create a movement, which is relevant to life in our adopted countries while maintaining cultural ties and identity with Haiti and assist the motherland to outgrow underdevelopment
Headquartered in Irvington, New Jersey, The League's strength is its cadre of professionals dedicated to further the cause of the movement. The League’s members include professionals living in more than 20 cities, in 12 states, the District of Columbia, Canada and Haiti.
Since its inception, the League has been devoting its human and material resources to assist Haiti and help Haitian descents enter the economic and social mainstream and attain deserving recognition, as offspring of those who assisted other Countries, such as the USA, in their path to independence and prosperity.
